Definitions
SME stands for Small and Mid-size Enterprises.
The eight business disciplines are the science behind scaling a business. It refers to the eight basic management disciplines that successful scale-up leaders follow to grow their business. Consistently implementing the 250 practices related to the eight disciplines is empirically proven to grow businesses and requires building maturity in each discipline, layer-by-layer as a business scales up and becomes more complex to scale.

The Business Maturity Index (BMIx) is a single summary score out of 100 indicating the overall maturity of your company across the eight business disciplines. The more complex your business is to scale, the higher your BMIx score needs to be for you to successfully scale. Factors driving up your business complexity include your product complexity, market rate of change, and your company growth rate.
SaaS is Software as a Service. Instead of buying a very expensive license fee to use the software, you pay an affordable amount each month to use it. The software is hosted in the cloud, and users access its features and applications remotely. The significant benefits of a SaaS platform over legacy approaches to software include affordability, flexibility, and free and regular product updates and new feature releases.

Navigator gets you ahead of your growth challenges by making your derailers visible and giving you a roadmap, recommendations and tools to build a loveable business. With its X-Ray diagnostic tool, you can accurately identify the reasons your business isn’t growing and how to address them.
Navigator’s X-Ray enables you to:

NXT-9’s Navigator dynamically updates your BMiX (Business Maturity Index) score as you implement your business growth priorities, so you know you are scaling. And it automatically assigns your next business building priorities, so you keep on your growth path. No more guessing whether you are working on the right things at the right time.
We recommend that all NXT-9 customers use Navigator to identify their business growth derailers and build and implement dynamic business improvement plans to get, and keep, their business growth on track.
Completing the entire X-Ray, encompassing all eight business disciplines, typically takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. However, you have the flexibility to tackle each section independently and receive immediate results. This allows you to devise an action plan for addressing your top-priority weak points within just 20 minutes. Subsequently, you can proceed with the remaining survey sections, starting with Strategy, Execution, People, and addressing the sections most pertinent to your business. Each survey section is presented as a distinct Discipline Card on your NXT-9 dashboard, displaying the estimated completion time and your progress. You can easily pick up where you left off at any time by clicking on the respective card.
The CEO and senior managers who are responsible for the core business functions associated with the eight business disciplines should complete the X-Ray.

NXT-9’s subscription fee is US$85 per month. The first 12 months is to be paid upfront, in advance, thereafter monthly. The subscription facilitates improvement of all your management disciplines with NXT-9’s full X-Ray. Visit our Pricing page for more details. Business coaches have free access for now to our coach portal including a license to use NXT-9’s platform in their coaching practice, as well as full access to the Growth Academy.
NXT-9 does not offer any discounts. You can, however, apply for our 3-month free trial of the Quest Ultra Challenge.
